Terms of Service

Last updated: August 12, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Lucide ("we", "us") for using the Lucide web app and everything that comes with it — the browser interface, web routing, AI features, chat, and games. By using Lucide you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

What Lucide is

Lucide is a browsing tool. At your direction, it fetches web pages through our servers and shows them to you inside the app. We don't operate, control, or endorse the third-party sites you visit through it — their content and their own terms are between you and them.

Accounts

You can use most of Lucide without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. We can suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service. Chat uses a separate account system from your Lucide account; each is governed by the same rules here.

Acceptable use

You choose what to access through Lucide, and that choice is yours alone. You agree to:

Break these and we can cut off access without warning.

Free tier and Lucide Plus

The free tier is supported by third-party advertising. Lucide Plus is a paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks extras like premium AI models. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time from your account page or the Stripe billing portal — you keep Plus until the end of the paid period. Except where the law says otherwise, payments aren't refundable.

Availability and changes

Lucide is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running, but we don't promise it will be up, unblocked, or unchanged at any given moment. Features, domains, and endpoints can change or disappear without notice.

No warranties, limited liability

We make no warranties about the service — express or implied — including that it will meet your needs, be secure against every threat, or stay accessible from every network. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost data, lost profits, disciplinary or legal trouble arising from how you chose to use the service), and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. Keep using Lucide after a change and the new terms apply to you.
