Branding and logos

Office identity on realtor sites is a house mark, a short wordmark, forest or navy, and cream paper — not a luxury-gold skin. Acreline ships original SVG marks (GPLv2). They are not NAR, MLS, or HUD trademarks.

Canonical kit: BRAND.md in the theme repo (name, tagline, Forest palette, mark paths). Product landing: matthummel.com/projects/acreline.

How to put your office on the theme

  1. Appearance → Customize → Site Identity → Logo — PNG or SVG, about 200×48 or a square mark. The header caps height at 44px.
  2. Customize → Identity → Brand name — replaces “Acreline” in the fallback lockup and footer.
  3. Customize → Colors — Forest is the sample office; Navy and Charcoal are the other palettes offices use most.
  4. Do not edit Blade to change the logo. A child theme can restyle it; the Customizer is enough for a client handoff.

Files in this pack: Documentation/assets/acreline-mark.svg, acreline-lockup.svg. Same files in the theme at public/images/brand/.

Color (Forest sample)

Ink#141210 — body text
Paper#f5f4f1 — page background
Accent#1f6b4a — buttons, links, mark roof
Accent dark#155539
Card#ffffff — listing and agent cards

Keep body text dark on a light page (WCAG). Do not put white type on an unshaded photo.

Type

Headings and body default to Inter (SIL OFL, Google Fonts). Customize → Typography. Serif in this documentation is Georgia for the wordmark only — the live theme stays Inter unless you change it.

Fair housing / association marks

Customize → Compliance controls the Equal Housing Opportunity statement and an optional house mark (industry best practice — not federally mandatory). When the concept demo banner is on, the label still says “(concept).” Turn the banner off on a live office. The SVG is a generic house mark, not official HUD or NAR artwork. Do not paste logos you do not have rights to. Full checklist: Website compliance.

Agent designations (ABR, CRS, GRI) and MLS/NRDS fields are text fields on the Agent metabox — type what the agent actually holds.

Named color styles

Customize → Colors. Forest is the sample office.
