PostX connects to the services below. Each entry says when, what is sent, and links the service's terms and privacy policy. Nothing is sent to WPXPO or IPinfo for analytics unless you take one of the actions named under "Usage analytics".

= PostX template service (WPXPO) =

Starter sites, patterns, designs and premade builder templates are loaded from `postxkit.wpxpo.com`, a WPXPO service. It is contacted when you open Starter Sites, the pattern or design library, or the builder's premade templates, and when you import one. The list is refreshed when you open it after more than two days. Sent: the PostX version and the ID of the selected template, design or site (PostX Pro, if installed, also adds its licence key). Your browser also requests the preview images of starter sites from this service when those screens are open. When you click a starter site to preview it, its live demo is shown in a frame on that screen, loaded from `postxkit.wpxpo.com`; this happens only for the site you chose to preview, and nothing is loaded for sites you don't open. As with any website you visit, the service sees your IP address, browser and the page you came from. No data from your site is sent. Each box is unticked until you tick it. "Skip & Deactivate", closing the notice, and leaving the boxes unticked send nothing. = Country lookup (IPinfo) =

PostX uses the IPinfo service (ipinfo.io) to find the country of your server. When one of the actions listed under "Usage analytics" sends data and no country is cached, your server makes a single request to `https://ipinfo.io/json`, with no parameters and no PostX data. IPinfo sees your server's public IP address, as it does for any request. PostX reads only the two-letter country code from the answer, keeps it for 180 days in a WordPress transient (`durbin_country_code`), and sends it to WPXPO with the analytics data. The IP address itself is not stored and not sent to WPXPO. No request is made if you take none of those actions. = WordPress.org (plugin installs) =

When you click Install on the dashboard's "Our products" tab, or import a starter site with "Install required plugins" ticked (the plugins are listed first), PostX downloads those plugins from WordPress.org through WordPress's own installer. = Google Fonts =

Fonts may load from `fonts.googleapis.com` on pages that use a Google font, which exposes the visitor's IP address to Google. You can turn this off and serve fonts locally in the PostX settings. [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy)

= YouTube (Google) =

In the admin, videos load from youtube.com only after you click play (dashboard banner, setup wizard, tutorials). On your site, the YouTube Gallery block (after you add a YouTube API key) connects to the YouTube Data API and the embedded player, and post blocks that show a YouTube video load its thumbnail from `img.youtube.com`. This may expose visitor IP addresses to Google. == Installation ==

= Minimum Requirements =

* WordPress 6.0 or greater
* PHP version 7.4 or greater
* MySQL version 5.6 or greater

= Automatic installation =

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t even need to leave your web browser. 

1. Go to your WordPress Plugin installation menu (Dashboard > Plugins > Add New)
2. In the search field type PostX and press enter.
3. Click "Install Now" and then "Activate"


= Manual installation =

For Manual installation, you download our product from WordPress directory uploading it to your web-server via your FTP or CPanel application.

1. Download the plugin and unzip it
2. Using an FTP program or CPanel upload the unzipped plugin folder to your WordPress installation’s wp-content/plugins/ directory.
3. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu (Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins) within the WordPress admin.

= Upgrading =

Automatic update working great for this plugin. If you customize the plugin make sure to store a backup before update.

Sometimes because of the permalink issue during the plugin update, just go to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and hit the ‘Save’ button.
