== Description ==

Boldstart is a starter theme for the WordPress Site Editor. It is deliberately small: a two-color base (ink and paper), two accent colors used sparingly (cobalt and lime), a system font stack set at a confident scale, and one signature motif — a source-code bracket that marks every post title — instead of decoration for its own sake.

Everything that controls the look of the theme lives in theme.json. There is no page-builder framework, no bundled plugin, and no build step. Fork it, edit the design tokens, and it becomes a different theme.

Boldstart includes a starter homepage pattern (Bracket Hero) intended to be replaced or extended, block templates for the standard content types (front page, index, single, page, archive, search, 404), and an accessible skip link, visible focus states, and a reduced-motion guard out of the box.

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New.
2. Search for "Boldstart", or upload the theme .zip via the Upload Theme button.
3. Activate the theme.
4. Go to Appearance > Editor to customize templates, styles, and the homepage pattern.
