= Quick start (about 30 seconds) =

1. In WordPress, go to **Plugins → Add New**, search for "SmartBot", then click **Install Now** and **Activate**.
2. Open **Settings → SmartBot**. No account yet? Enter your email and click **Create Free Account** — your Tenant ID is filled in for you. Already have one? Paste the Tenant ID from your SmartBot dashboard.
3. Click **Save**. Your AI chatbot is now live on every page — there is no code to copy.

To show the chatbot on only some pages, use the display options or the `[smartbot]` shortcode.

1. Download the plugin ZIP.
2. Go to **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**, upload the ZIP, then click **Install Now** and **Activate**.

= Account registration and connection check (admin only) =

* **One-click registration:** When you (the site admin) click "Create Free Account" on the settings page, the email address you entered plus your site domain, site name, and site language are sent to `smartbot.studiomeyer.io` to create your SmartBot account. Nothing is sent without that click.
* **Tenant ID verification:** When a Tenant ID is saved, the plugin checks it against `smartbot.studiomeyer.io` when the settings page is loaded (result cached for one hour) to show the connection status. Only the Tenant ID itself is sent.
* No visitor data is involved in either request.
