These settings control Default SEO — the titles and meta descriptions SEO Bulk Admin prints when Yoast SEO or Rank Math is not handling them for you.
If Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active, SEO Bulk Admin steps back: conflicting Default SEO fields hide, and you manage titles and descriptions in that plugin instead. That keeps you from getting duplicate <title> tags or twin meta descriptions.
Turn on the disable toggle when another SEO tool (outside Yoast/Rank Math) owns your head output. Otherwise, configure the defaults below and let SEO Bulk Admin fill gaps.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Disable Default SEO | Stops SEO Bulk Admin from printing any head tags. |
| Title format | Pattern for the document title (site name, separators, category-based, etc.). |
| Custom title appendant | Suffix text when the format calls for a custom append. |
| Include meta description | Whether and when a meta description tag appears. |
| Separator | Characters between title parts — often |. |
| Capitalization | Optional transforms on generated titles. |
Values you set on individual posts in Site Manager still win over these defaults where the plugin supports them. Category-based formats apply to posts; pages follow the site-title behavior described in the on-screen help.
Click Save and wait for confirmation. If something fails validation, the error shows inline — fix it before you leave the page.
