Scissors also allows automatic resizing of images when they are uploaded and supports watermarking of images. Additionally, images that are resized in the post editor are automatically resampled to the requested size using bilinear filtering when a post is saved. When the first version of Scissors was published in October 2008 it was available only in English and German. Since then translations into new languages have been contributed by the following kind individuals. Thank you for your time and initiative. * French (fr_FR) - [Jean-Michel Meyer](http://www.li-an.fr/blog/) * Norwegian (nb_NO, no_NO) - [John Myrstad] * Spanish (es_ES) - [Samuel Aguilera](http://agamum.net/blog/) If you have translated the plugin into another language and wish to see the corresponding language files bundled with Scissors, feel free to contact me at [stephan.reiter@gmail.com](mailto:stephan.reiter@gmail.com). == Installation == 1. Upload the `scissors` folder to your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. 1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress. 1. Configure the plugin in WordPress' media settings. Automatic resizing of the full-size image at upload-time can be configured in WordPress' media settings. You can specify a maximum width and a maximum height in pixels for this to take effect (a width/height of 0 disables image resizing in that particular dimension). Watermarking can also be configured and enabled in WordPress' media settings: Supply an image that you want to be embedded into all newly uploaded images, specify it's alignment, size, and margin, and you're all set! == Screenshots == 1.
