## Who is Yatoon for?

Yatoon is built for salons, spas, nail salons, beauty studios, and other appointment-based service businesses.

## Does the free version need an external service?

No. Local mode runs inside WordPress and does not require Square, Vagaro, Stripe, Twilio, or Google Calendar.

## What does Pro add?

Pro adds premium integrations and growth features, including Square/Vagaro sync, SMS reminders, Google Calendar sync, deposits/prepay, unlimited staff, no-show tracking, recurring bookings, packages, memberships, coupons, and gift cards.

## Can clients book multiple services in one appointment?

Yes. Yatoon supports multi-service appointments and calculates the total duration and price.

## Can a client book for a friend or group?

Yes. Group appointments allow separate services and staff for each guest.

## Does Yatoon prevent double bookings?

Yatoon checks existing bookings and in-progress group submissions before saving local appointments. When Square or Vagaro is active, availability depends on successful API sync and correct staff/service mapping.

## Does Yatoon support deposits?

Deposits are available in the separate Pro package with Stripe configuration.

## Can customers cancel or reschedule?

Yes. Confirmation emails include secure manage-booking links when customer self-service is enabled.

## Does Yatoon work with any WordPress theme?

Yatoon is designed to work with standard themes. Heavily customized themes, aggressive caching, and JavaScript optimization plugins may require exclusions for the booking page.

## What pages should be excluded from caching?

Exclude pages containing booking, customer portal, staff portal, or manage-booking shortcodes from full-page caching and delayed JavaScript loading.

## Is Yatoon multilingual?

Yatoon includes translation files and is translation-ready. Some custom settings text is controlled by the site owner in plugin settings.

## What should I test before publishing?

Test booking, cancellation, rescheduling, staff assignment, email delivery, staff portal access, and the mobile booking flow on the exact live site where customers will book.
