Outsourcing, Bangladesh , Online Transaction and Internet Speed

Recently lot of students, IT professional's and all other peoples interested about outsourcing. In Bangladesh this number increasing rapidly also our media basically news papers last few months focused on that. Does we get appropriate help and other things to do outsourcing? Last few months I did few works and faced some obstacle. Important two are given below. First I want to point out Internet Connection Speed. Many ISP are available in Bangladesh and Most of them are in Dhaka. I think 95% of them giving line to normal user (not corporate connection) . And they have many schemes in different prices. According to them these are broadband connection. Now i am really confused how much speed a broadband connection should have. I am using a line which maximum speed is 13 KBps. Do you think this speed is good for outsourcing? I don't think so. I think Govt. should take step about the internet connection speed of home users like students, IT Professionals who can bring lot of revenues by outsourcing work. I successfully did 19 works from getcoder.com where my earning reported 2000 USD. But there is no way to easly get that money in Bangladesh except western union money trasfer. But Truely Speaking 95% ppls who provide outsourcing work will not pay you through Western Union Money Transfer. So we have 5% work lolz. Don't You think Bangladesh Govt should allow paypal or something like that ?

How to setup Darwin Streaming Server(DSS) in XP and Stream using VLC

To setup darwin streaming server you need the following softwares.

Darwin streaming server (DSS)
Web Server
Active Perl

1. First Setup a webserver [IIS or APache in windows XP] I recomended to using WAMP its easy to setup just download the executable and double click to open and follow the next on screen instruction for setup. 2. Download Active Perl and setup it. 3. Download Darwin Streaming Server [DSS] and unzip it. Click on install.bat and follow the next instruction. You are done with Darwin streaming server. 4. Close all the window and open C:\Program Files\Darwin Streaming Server/streamingadminserver.pl to enable web admin panel. 4. Go through the url http://localhost:1220/ Now you are in admin panel of DSS. 5. create a new playlist change 'untitled' & 'untitled.sdp' to "test" & "test.sdp", add "sample_50kbit.3gp" alone and click "save changes" check the status has changed to 'playing' else click the play icon next to the status column. 6. now check the below url rtsp://localhost/test.sdp okay streaming working now lets test from a different computer from same network rtsp://you-computer-ip/test.sdp [In this step i waited two hours cause here is the tricky things its not working in another pc of the same network cause the 554 port is not open in your firewall] 7. Go to ur firewall and open the 554 port for TCP and UDP. [Okay Done now i think its work with also from remote PC ] Now stream direct from VLC player No one going to tell you the method i waited two days to find out the solutions with the help of this url Go here 1. Download VLC player and Setup. 2. Create a folder some other drive on your computer [e.g Streaming ] and copy the file C:\Program Files\Darwin Streaming Server\Movies\sample_100kbit.mp4 in Streaming Folder. 3. Create Batch file in the Streaming Folder and copy the following Code

4. double click the batch file, 'movies.sdp' file will be created under the folder '--sout-rtp-sdp' you specified, copy this '.sdp' to C:\Program Files\Darwin Streaming Server\Movies\ 5. Now go to the url rtsp://your-ip/movies.sdp Thats all. Still i am working on it and trying to stream live TV if i will get successful I must let you know guys.

When a Subscriber Download content in his mobile devices there is not too much reliable way to get status that if the user have got the content successfully or the content is acceptable by his device where OMA comes. Its often called OMA DD s an open standard and application-level protocol that enables reliable content downloads. Advantages of OMA Download 1. It provides the ability to check compatible content for handset. 2. It sends a status report for successful content delivery or if there is any other issue. OMA supported by maximum Modern handset and right now only one operator in Bangladesh Citycell ensure OMA download Procedure through Content Providers. OMA use DD [Download Descriptor] file which is basically a xml file containing some predefined elements. Instead of download the content directly users point to the descriptor files which contain the relevant information about the content, content name, notify url, content size etc. which i described below. DD file contain the following elements: type [MIME Type of the Content] size [Size of the content in bytes] objectURI [Actual URL for the content] installNotifyURI [URL in which status will be sent for successful content download or for failure] nextURL [After download the content in which url users will go] DDVersion [Version of Download descriptor Technology] name [Name of the content] description [Short Description of the content] vendor [Vendor of the content] infoURL [URL that describes the content] iconURI [URL for an ICON] only the first 3 elements (type, size and objectURI) are mandatory on the Download Descriptor. A simple Download Descriptor is give below: DD FILE Possible Status Code is given below 900---> Success 901---> Insufficient Memory 902---> user Canceled 903---> Loss of Service 904---> Attribute mismatch 906---> Invalid Descriptor 951---> Invalid DDversion 952---> Device Aborted 953---> content not compatible with handset 954---> If Content url is invalid Thats all about OMA download procedure which i know. Smarty for Beginners

What is Smarty? Smarty is a template engine for PHP. More specifically, it facilitates a manageable way to separate application logic and content from its presentation. This is best described in a situation where the application programmer and the template designer play different roles, or in most cases are not the same person. How To Setup Smarty? 1. Go through the site of smarty and download the Latest stable Release. 2. Unzip it somewhere in your computer and Copy The libs folder some where in your web server [In this tutorial I assume you copy it in your root directory] and rename It as smarty. 3. Create another directory in your server [i.e smartyrules] and create another two directory html and compile within smartyrules directory and set it chmod to 777. 4. Now create a file with the content of as follows name as libs.inc.php and put it to smartrules directory

5. Create another file called smarty.php and put it into your root directory

All Set now you go to your browser and call http://your-server/smarty.php.You'll see your page is generated using index.html in subfolder "html" as the template. That would be your first Smarty page. What Smarty does is compile index.html and put it in the "compile" folder then display it right away from there. You can see in the "compile" folder, there are new files, they were created by Smarty.
