# Live Streams

Enable **Live Channels** under **MediaBlaster → General Settings**, then use **Live → Add New Live Stream**.

## Stream modes

- **Continuous** — always-on stream at the live edge; duration may be open-ended.
- **Scheduled Event** — occupies a defined duration when placed on a channel playlist.

## Fields

- **Default Scheduled Duration** — seconds or `HH:MM:SS`; used when a playlist item has no duration override.
- **Fallback Content** — optional Movie, Episode, or Live post when the direct stream is unavailable.

Live streams use the standard **Video Data** metabox for media URL, format, quality, genres, and subscription access.

## REST API

Published Live posts appear at `GET /wp-json/mediablaster/v3/live` when the module is enabled.
