= Control the visibility of a post in various views: = 

* The Front Page (Homepage, depending on your theme, this may not be relevant)
* The Category Page (listing the posts belonging to a category)
* The Search Results.

= Control the visibility of a page in various views: =

* Hide a page on the front page (homepage) only.
* Hide a page everywhere in the blog (hiding the page in the search results is optional).

Use WordPress’ Add New Plugin feature, searching “WP Post Hide”, or download the archive and:

1. Unzip the archive on your computer
2. Upload duplicate-post directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
