Display a different greeting message to your visitor depending on which site they are coming from.

== Description ==

This plugin lets you show a different greeting message to your visitor
depending on their referrer url.  For example, when a Digg user clicks through
from Digg, they will see a message reminding them to digg your post if they
like it.  Another example, when a Google visitors clicks through from Google,
they will see a message suggesting them to subscribe to your feed if they
like your content.  Having these targeted suggestions help blogs increase
exposure and loyal readership.  Best of all, this plugin is compatible with
various WordPress cache plugins so you do not have to sacrifice speed.

Currently the following referrers are installed by default, but you can
easily create your own if your favorite referrer is not on the list!

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin to your plugins folder: 'wp-content/plugins/'
2. Make sure your the apache user has write permissions for the directory
   'wp-content/plugins/wp-greet-box'.
3. Activate the 'WP Greet Box' plugin from the Plugins admin panel.
4. (optional) Go to the Options -> WP Greet Box admin panel to make
   any customizations.
5. Insert <?php wp_greet_box() ?> where you want your message displayed in your
   theme.
6. Test this out by googling your site and click through to your site from
   google.  You should see the greeting message custimized for a google visitor.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this work with cache plugins? =
Yes it does!  Just make sure that you clear your cache after you've dropped in
the wp_greet_box() code into your theme.

= Can I add additional greeting messages? =
Yes!  You can easily do this on the WP Greet Box options page.  You can even 
modify preinstalled messages or delete them.

= I upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0.  Where did my messages go? =
Version 2.0 uses a very different memory structure than version 1.0.  You will
need to manually copy your customized messages to an external document of some
sort (notepad), perform "Reset Options" to restore default configurations, and
copy your customizations back over from notepad.
