In terms of the tracking system, checks are carried out every 5 minutes from different locations and then averages are worked out to form the overall reports from which the graph is generated and shown via an iframe. Other reports including hourly, weekly and daily can be seen by visiting the Uptime Tracker website directly. == Installation == 1. Upload `uptime-widget.zip` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress 3. Head to the 'Appearances' then 'Widgets' and drag the 'Uptime Widget' to an available spot on your sidebar 4. Enter a title (optional, eg. Uptime Graph), website to monitor (required, eg. nerdkey.co.uk) and a message to display (optional, eg. Check out my website uptime) 5.
