# Commercial Release Checklist

The plugin package is code-complete for a 2.0 release, but a commercial launch should still complete the following operational checks.

## Before publishing

- Test activation, editing, rendering, duplication, and deletion on a staging WordPress installation.
- Test the current supported WordPress and Elementor releases plus the oldest versions stated in the plugin headers.
- Test PHP 7.4 and the PHP versions used by target hosting providers.
- Verify Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, iOS Safari, and Android Chrome.
- Test common Elementor container widths, boxed themes, RTL sites, and pages containing multiple mixed slider instances.
- Compress production imagery and verify Core Web Vitals with representative slide content.
- Replace the placeholder help URL with the final product documentation URL.
- Connect a private update service before enabling automatic commercial updates. The 2.0 package uses `Update URI: false` to prevent the custom build from being overwritten by an unrelated WordPress.org package.
- Add marketplace screenshots, support terms, a privacy statement, and customer-facing version history.
- Review all bundled branding, URLs, authorship, and distribution rights before sale.

## Recommended staging checks after every update

1. Back up the site and database.
2. Install the update on staging.
3. Clear Elementor generated files and all caches.
4. Open each legacy and Pro slider in the editor.
5. Check desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts.
6. Verify links, keyboard navigation, autoplay, pagination, and reduced-motion behavior.
7. Deploy only after visual and functional approval.
