== Description ==
Create and display fictitious notifications on your website to show an effect of a busy store that motivates your users to take action.  With this plugin, you will be able to create a FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) effect which creates a feeling of being left out from something interesting. According to  Psychologies psychotherapy columnist Philippa Perry it's, "a modern take on the grass being greener on the other side."

== Installation ==

To install the plugin manually in WordPress:

Login as Admin on your WordPress blog/website.
Click on the "Plugins" tab in the left menu.
Select "Add New."
Option 1:
Click on "Upload" at the top of the page.
Select the "Swarm-Effect.zip" on your computer, and upload. Activate the plugin once it is uploaded. 
Option 2: 
Search for the plugin in the repository by typing "Swarm Effect" and click on "install"
Activate the plugin.

To install the plugin manually with FTP:

Unzip the "Swarm-Effect.zip" file. Upload that folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Login to your WordPress dashboard and activate the plugin through the "Plugins" tab in the left menu.


How To Use The Plugin

Create a new notification by following these steps:
- Click "Add New" button
- Fill out all the fields on the first tab.
- Provide value for all the varibales you want to use in the notifications and go to next tab.
- Select the UI design for your notification and provide a time range (in seconds) for the notification to be displayed.
- Select the position on the screen where you want the notification to be displayed.
- Choose from the display rules and then save your notification.

Once everything is done you can activate/deactivate the notification from the list page.


== Frequently Asked Questions ==

1) How many notifications can I create?
With the free version you can create 3 different notifications

2) Is the iming interval fixed or randomized?
Randomized. Once you provide a time range in seconds for a notification, we randomly select the variables and timing so that
it looks reals.

For eg, if you provide a time range of 60 secs to 600 secs for a notification, that notification will be randomly displayed between
60 to 600 seconds.
