 = How do I allow users to register and contribute =

 You must allow user registration in Settings > General and (after plugin activation) set the default user type to "Submitter". Alternatively you can use <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/user-registration">another plugin</a> to make user registration more user-friendly.

 = What's the plan for this? =

 The idea is to ultimately build out a workflow management system for user-contributed content that is intuitive and elegant, including easy-to-use submission screens for users and sophisticated submission management for editors, including autmoatically-generated email replies.
