Simple Coming Soon is the easiest way to hide your site from visitors while you work on it. We believe essential features should be free, not locked behind a paywall.

== Installation ==

1.  Upload the `simple-coming-soon` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
2.  Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
3.  **Navigate to Settings > Coming Soon** to configure your page.
4.  Click "Save Settings" and your custom page is live immediately.

== Usage ==

**1. How to Design the Action Button:**
* Go to the **Action Button** section.
* Enter your text (e.g., "Join Waitlist") and URL.
* Use the **Button Design** area to set hover colors, border width, and select a **Shadow Style** (Soft, Medium, Hard, Deep).

**2. How to use the Countdown Timer:**
* Scroll to the "Countdown Timer" section.
* Check "Enable Timer" and select your Launch Date/Time.
* *Optional:* Check "Auto-Launch" if you want the site to automatically go live when time runs out.

**3. How to use Secret Client Access:**
* Enter a simple word in the "Bypass Keyword" field (e.g., `demo`).
* Click Save.
* Copy the generated link and send it to your client. They can now see the live site!

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

**Q: I activated the plugin, but I can still see my website. Is it broken?**
A: No! The plugin intentionally lets *you* (the logged-in admin) see the site so you can work on it. Please check the site in an **Incognito/Private** window to see the Coming Soon page.

**Q: How do I create a "Ghost Button" (Transparent with border)?**
A: Easy! In the Action Button settings:
1. Set "Background Color" to Transparent.
2. Set "Border Width" to `2px`.
3. Set "Border Color" to White.
4. Set "Shadow Effect" to `None`.

**Q: Does the Countdown Timer automatically publish the site?**
A: Yes, BUT only if you check the **"Auto-Launch"** box in the settings.

**Q: How long does the Secret Client Link last?**
A: For security, the secret link uses a "Session Cookie." Access lasts as long as the browser window remains open. Once the client closes their browser, the access is revoked.
