Upload the directory ’secure-axs’ to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress 3. Use the Settings->Plugin Name screen to configure the plugin 4. upon activating, default login url becomes http://www.yourname.com/axs-login where “www.yourname.com” is your domain name. == Frequently Asked Questions == = I activated the plugin and can’t seem to access the site? = Activating the plugin on your Wordpress site changes default login to http://www.yoursite.com/axs-login or http://www.yoursite.com/?axs-login if your permalink setup is set to default, where “www.yoursite.com” is the name of your domain. = I Changed the Permalink setup and now the login panel doesn't work, how to access? = Changing the permalink settings to or from default selection causes the secure login url to change accordingly, if your permalink setup was default and you changed it to SEO friendly URL, remove the "?" previously existed in your login url (i.e http://yourname.com/?axs-login would be http://yourname.com/axs-login), add the "?" after http://yourname.com/ if you reverted to default permalink. If that doesn't help, please feel free to open a support ticket in the relevant forum. = Will keeping the new default login url prevent brute force attacks? = No. While it helps reducing the frequency of automated attacks on your site, changing the login URL from plugin settings to something unique is what will prevent the brute force attacks, you can easily set that up from settings page of the plugin. == Screenshots == 1.
