This plugin generates XML feeds for media devices such as Roku, Boxee & Plex.

**RoVidX** generates the XML feeds for Roku, Plex & Boxee applications.

Easily add content to your *Internet TV* app directly from Wordpress.

The free version is limited to Roku private channels.  If you would like to have more shows and get in the public channel listing on Roku, please purchase our Pro Edition.

== Installation ==

1. Upload & Activate Plugin
2. Click "RoVidX" in the Administration menu.
3. Enter your details including category slug, title & description
4. Save.
5. Add a new post.  A new meta-box will appear under your post editor for feed information including title, description and file URL.

= Does this work with audio? =

No, the free edition only works with video.  The Pro version is scheduled to add audio files soon.

= How do I get this feed on Roku/Boxee/Plex? =

You will need a platform specific application.  You can hire a developer or you can get a template from us!

= How hard is it to build an app for Roku/Boxee/Plex? =

To build an app from scratch requires a fundmental knowledge of programming BUT you can get an "App template" from us.

= Can I use my own app with RoVidX? =

You sure can! In fact, the Roku SDK comes with an example XML application that only needs slight tweaks to work with RoVidX Free (and Pro!)

= What is the difference between the RoVidX Free & Pro version =

The free version only allows for 1 show listing while the Pro version allows for multiple shows with multiple subcategories.

1. Simply add your Category Slug, a Title, a Description and a HD thumbnail and a SD thumbnail for your channel and click 'Save'.

2. Then add your information into the post meta-box called RoVidX Options.
