Meet [RetinaPost](http://RetinaPost.com/ "RetinaPost"), a beautiful plugin that makes  Captcha's clean and engaging using feeds or custom text.

Easy and intuitive for your website visitors, it does the opposite compared to regular Captchas witch make the user abandon the action or the website completely. It helps increase user interaction on your site.

You can choose to use your feed or custom text to inform or guide the user to read more articles or to perform other actions.

You can put in the custom text snippets from: Tip of the day, Active discussions, Most Recent Comments, Further Reading, Warnings.

It suppports multiple feed formats (RSS, Atom, etc) and feed caching.

Use [RetinaPost](http://RetinaPost.com/ "RetinaPost") to stop spam and bots on forms, comment posts, new account registrations, polls and surveys, and many other areas of your website (in next releases).

== Installation ==

To install in regular WordPress and WordPress MultiSite:

1. Install automatically through the **Plugins**, **Add New** or Upload and unzipt the `RetinaPost_wordpress` archive to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
1. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress
1. Go to **Retina Settings** and obtain a key or click[here](http://retinapost.com/register/?app=wordpress "Retina API key")


== Requirements ==

* You need a RetinaPost key. Install and get one from RetinaPost **Settings** page. Alternativelly, get one from [here](http://retinapost.com/register/?app=wordpress "Retina API key") **only email and site address needed**
* If you turn on XHTML 1.0 Compliance you and your users will need to have Javascript enabled to see and complete the RetinaPost challenge
* Your theme must have a `do_action('comment_form', $post->ID);` call right before the end of your form (*Right before the closing form tag*). Most themes do.
* Your charset must be UTF-8. Most themes do.

= How do I find my feeds URL? =
I have made some suggestion of feeds that appear on your site/blog in the RetinaPost **Settings page** below the **Feed(RSS)** input.

= Is RetinaPost less secure than other CAPTCHAs because it does't use random characters ? =
The RetinaPost challenge is constructed based on feeds or custom text, witch can be read by bots, but that does not mean that we can not use random characters when needed. 
We have some aces up our sleeves. Through continuous improvement the RetinaPost will become one of the safest Captchas.
