This is a small plugin allowing you to turn digital pinyin notation (Chinese transliteration standard) into a diacritic one.

== Description ==

This is a small WordPress plugin allowing you to turn digital pinyin notation (Chinese transliteration standard) into a diacritic one. It turns out to be very useful if you type chinese grammar lessons.

For example, "Wo3 shi4 Mei3guo2 ren2" turns into "Wǒ shì Měiguó rén".

== Installation ==

1. Unzip `pinyin-tones.zip` into `/pinyin-tones/` directory
1. Upload `/pinyin-tones/` directory to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
1. Use `[pinyin][/pinyin]` syntax to format your pynyin notation.
