== Description ==

**PingVid** is a lightweight WordPress plugin that adds a floating video widget to your site. It works great with **YouTube Shorts**, as well as other standard YouTube video formats.

After the page loads, a small video player appears in the corner of the screen and begins autoplaying **without sound**. When a user clicks the video, it expands slightly and plays with sound, creating an engaging, non-intrusive experience.

Perfect for promotional clips, product teasers, or short video messages that draw attention without overwhelming the page content.

== Installation ==

= Installation from within WordPress =

1. Visit **Plugins > Add New**.
2. Search for **PingVid**.
3. Install and activate the PingVid plugin.

= Manual installation =

1. Upload the entire `pingvid` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
2. Visit **Plugins**.
3. Activate the PingVid plugin.

= After activation =

Visit the new **PingVid > Settings** menu.
