= phpMyVisites =
phpMyVisites is a free and powerful open source (GNU/GPL) software for websites statistics and audience measurements.

phpMyVisites gives a lot of information on websites visitors, visited pages, software/hardware utilization, etc... The GUI Interface is fun and practical. The installation is entirely automated and very simple.

Statistics are very complete and use many clear graphics to present data. The web analytics software is translated in more than 30 languages!

= Piwik =
Piwik is an open source web analytics software (alternative to Google analytics).

== Installation ==
1. Install phpMyVisites, see [phpMyVisites, dokumentation/install](http://www.phpmyvisites.us/documentation/Installation "phpMyVisites dokumentation/install")
1. Unpack the download-package
1. Edit the php-file (`wp-phpmyvisitys.php`) in OPTIONS; line 18 and 19 when you use phpMyVisites or in line 29 and 30 when you use Piwik. Please leave empty the varibales do not use! 

*   `// OPTIONS`
*   `// the URI to the directory of your phpMyVisites-folder/installation`
*   `$fbwp_phpmyvisites_dir = "http://example.com/phpmv";`
*   `// the ID; after the install of phpMyVisites you get the ID; How many sites in phpMyVisites, the first ist 1, the second ist 2, ...`
*   `$fbwp_phpmyvisites_siteno = "1";`

1. Upload the file to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, without folder
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
