WooCommerce PBT Pay - PBT Payment Gateway

== Description ==

PBT Pay for WooCommerce.  Once installed, you can configure this through WooCommerce, Settings, Payment tab.

Enable the PBT Pay Method; PBT Payment Gateway and apply your unique: 
1. PBT Merchant Number (you will find it in the MCP, ACCOUNT, Account Information) 
2. PBT Security Key (you will find it in the MCP, SETTINGS, Security, Personal Hash Key


For direct (and not redirect) process method:
As with all direct payment gateways where your customer doesn't leave your website, 
you will need a valid SSL certificate and PCI DSS certification.

== Installation ==
Installation :

1. Download.

2. Upload to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

4. Goto Woocommerce -> Settings and select the Payments tab and click on PBT or Apple Pay just below the tabs.

Configure PBT Pay Plugin Settings:

1. Add your 'Merchant Number' which would have been supplied by PBT.

2. Set PBT Action accordingly.

== External Services ==

This plugin connects to external payment services provided by PBT Payment Gateway in order to process customer payments via a Hosted Payment Page (HPP).
The plugin is required to communicate with PBT servers to create and process payment transactions. Without this service, the plugin cannot function.

- https://process.pbtpay.eu/member/remote_charge.asp (Remote charge processing)

Data sent to the external service:
When a customer places an order and selects a PBT payment method, the plugin sends transaction and customer billing details to PBT, including:
- Order total amount and currency
- Order reference number
- Customer billing name and company
- Customer billing address (street, city, state, ZIP, country)
- Customer email address and phone number
- Transaction settings (sale/authorization, language, payment method type)
- A generated signature hash for verification

When data is sent:
Data is sent only during checkout when the customer confirms the order and is redirected to the hosted payment page to complete payment.
