WordPress includes a Flash based media uploader, Unfortunately for some however, It does not work as intended due to server configurations, or broken Flash on the users computer. This plugin disables the flash uploader which causes WordPress to fall back to a Browser-based uploader.

WordPress includes a Flash based media uploader, Unfortunately for some however, It does not work as intended due to server configurations, or broken Flash on the users computer. This plugin disables the flash uploader which causes WordPress to fall back to a Browser-based uploader.

Please Note: I *highly* suggest attempting to seek help in order to fix any problems with the flash uploader in the support forums before resorting to this plugin if the uploader simply does not work. 
I personally use the Flash uploader, and find it does a good job.
