A plugin to set up the email sent to new users when the register.

== Description ==

This Plugin defines the email that is sent to new users when they first register on your blog. You can define the subject, message body and from email address.
It also defines the message body and subject for the email sent to the blog administrator. The plugin allows HTML in the emails.

This Branch is designed for those people still on PHP 4.

== Installation ==

1. Download and Unzip newuseremailsetup.zip
2. Upload to your wp-content/plugins directory
3. Go to the Plugins page of your admin screen and look for 'New User Email Setup' and press 'activate'
4. Now go to Settings (Options if pre WP2.5)>New User Email and change the default text to what you want, remembering to use the variables!
5. Now make sure to test your new email, and you're done!!

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= The email isn't being sent from the address I define =

Are you sure that that address exists on your host? If you use MX records, you have to set up the email address on your host as well for it to work correctly.

= My variables aren't being passed to the email =

Make sure they are in the format %variable% with no spaces between the % and the variable.
