Mechanic Post Hits Counter is display number of hits or view on each of WordPress website or blog posting. meaning, will appear the number of how many times a page is accessed or opened. You can put anywhere using shortcode method including page, single post, or as a widgets.

== Installation ==

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1. Upload `hitsmechanic.zip` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. You can do this using 'Upload' functionality provided in plugins section of your wordpress dashboard
2. Activate the plugin through the `Plugins` menu in WordPress
3. Go to `Settings` >> `Hits Mechanic Options` and copy the following shortcode `<?php get_HitsMechanic();?>` in to your WordPress post or page.
4. Save
5. You are done.

= How to editing display of counter? =

you must open the file `wp-hitsmechanic.php` plugins on the `wp-content/plugins/hitsmechanic/` and look for the following PHP syntax `echo" Hits: $ hitcount ";`
Note: do not change `$hitcount`, if you do not understand php language programming. you may add images or words after and before the `$hitcount`.
