This plugin integrates the LikeBtn Like Button into your WordPress website to allow visitors to like and dislike pages, posts, custom post types and comments anonymously.

<strong>1. How can I place the Like Button inside the post/page content using a shortcode?</strong>

Use the following shortcode: `[likebtn]`

You can pass Like Button settings as parameters in the shortcode:
`[likebtn identifier="my_button_in_post" style="large"]`

If identifier parameter is not specified, post ID is used.


<strong>2. How can I display a list of the most liked content inside the post/page using a shortcode? (PRO, VIP, ULTRA)</strong>

Use the following shortcode:
`[likebtn_most_liked content_types="post,comment" title="Most liked posts and comments on my website" show_date="1" show_likes="0" show_dislikes="1" number="3"]`

Available content types: `post, page, attachment, revision, nav_menu_item, comment` and custom post types.


<strong>3. Identifier structure.</strong>

The `identifier` parameter in WordPress LikeBtn plugin has the following structure: **Post type** + **_** + **Post ID**

Examples:

So if you need to insert the LikeBtn HTML-code directly into WordPress post template, you can specify `identifier` parameter as follows:

<strong>4. Sort posts by likes.</strong>

After enabling synchronization WordPress Like Button plugin adds 3 custom fields to posts:

</ul>

You can sort posts in WordPress by custom fields values using <a href="http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/query_posts" target="_blank">query_posts()</a> function. At first determine the template for inserting the code, it can be index.php, page.php, archive.php or any other depending on your needs and WordPress theme you are using. Then find the <a href="http://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop" target="_blank">Loop</a> in the template. Finally insert the query_posts() function call above the Loop:

In `meta_key` parameter specify one of the 3 custom fields provided by LikeBtn plugin. In `order` parameter specify the desired sort order: DESC (descending), ASC (ascending).

<strong>5. Using WordPress Like Button plugin in a Multisite network.</strong>

You can use LikeBtn plugin in a domain-based <a href="http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network" target="_blank">multisite networks</a> in which sites use subdomains. Using LikeBtn plugin in a path-based multisite networks in which on-demand sites use paths is not recommended for now, as vote results will intersect between sub-sites.
