Jetpack Boost provides one-click optimizations that supercharge your WordPress site’s performance and SEO.

Jetpack Boost provides you with a simple way to check your site’s performance according to the latest standards used by the world’s most successful web sites. Improving performance is increasingly important for SEO, as the world’s major search engines prioritize user experience alongside relevance in their ranking algorithms.

This alpha release includes two powerful performance modules, with more to come:

1. Lazy Image Loading only loads the images the user can see. As the user scrolls, images are loaded just before they show up on the page. This simple optimization makes sites faster and saves bandwidth for your host and your customers.

2. Local Critical CSS generates optimized styles for your homepage, posts and pages. This can allow your content to show up on the screen much faster, particularly for viewers using mobile devices.
