Based on the now famous "Hello Dolly" plugin created by Matt Mullenweg, "Hello HAL" ( Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic Computer: HAL 9000 ) is a science fiction movie quotation plugin displaying random quotes within the dashboard. The goal was to take the Hello Dolly plugin a step or two further by including the speaking character's name and the title of the film.

== Installation ==

To install the plugin just follow these simple steps:

1. Download the plugin and expand it.
2. Copy the hello-hal folder into your plugins folder ( wp-content/plugins ).
3. Log-in to the WordPress administration panel and visit the Plugins page.
4. Locate the Hello HAL plugin and click on the activate link.

= Are you taking quotes for the next version? =

Yes, as long as you have: The name of the person who spoke the line ( movie names only ) and the title of the movie. I will be happy to include them at intervals of thirty and update this plugin.
