GoWorks Flip Clock is a fun blast from the past. It displays an elegant retro flip-style clock on your pages and posts. It’s perfect for drawing attention to time-sensitive or important information with an eye-catching visual.

The clock can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour time. Simply include the shortcode `[goworks-flipclock]` or `[goworks-flipclock hours24="true"]` in your blog post. To show localized 'Hours', 'Minutes', and 'Seconds' labels on the clock, use `showLabelsBelow="true"` in the shortcode.

An easy-to-use settings page is included. It allows you to change clock properties without having to set attributes in the shortcode. A preview flip clock on the page responds to changes as you make them.

In most cases you can install automatically from WordPress.

However, if you install this manually, follow these steps:

1. Upload the `goworks-flipclock` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress

You will find a 'GoWorks Flip Clock' menu item in your WordPress Settings panel.

1. Make sure the GoWorks Flip Clock plugin is installed and activated
1. In your text of your post, simply include the special shortcode `[goworks-flipclock]` at the location where you want the clock to appear

= Can I display the clock in 24-hour format? =

Yes. Add the `hours24` attribute to the shortcode. For example, `[goworks-flipclock hours24="true"]`. You can also set the default to 24-hour time on the Settings page. Then you don't need to use the attribute in the shortcode.

= Can I display labels for the time units? =

Yes. To show localized 'Hours', 'Minutes', and 'Seconds' labels on the clock, use 'showLabelsBelow="true"' in the shortcode. For example, `[goworks-flipclock showLabelsBelow="true"]`.
