Putting Maps On Pages & Posts

The Basic Shortcode

Go to your page or past where you want a map and enter the [effortless-gm] shortcode.

You'll probably not want to show the default address, so add your own like this:

    [effortless-gm address="1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830"]
    

Setting The Map Size

Use the size option in the shortcode. The setting is in "<width>x<height>" format. The width can be in either pixel format:

    [effortless-gm address="1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830" size="200x200"]
    

or percentage format:

    [effortless-gm address="1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830" size="80%x80%"]
    

or a combination of both

    [effortless-gm address="1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830" size="80%x400"]
    

Other Options

We dont' want to clutter the settings page with a list of ALL the options, so here is the punch list. Visit the Effortless Google Maps wiki for more details.

• address - where to center the map and drop the marker
• size - the width and height of the map
• theme - set the theme for this map only (default: selection from settings page)
• zoom - how close to zoom in (default: 12 which is "street" level)
• view - set the view mode ("satellite", "roadmap", "hybrid", and "terrain") for that map
• name - set the name for when the user clicks on your location
