A) Installation - top

1. Upload the plugin to your WordPress powered website wp-content/plugins directory.
2. In the admin menu, go to the Plugins screen and activate Glass It Price Tracker.
3. If installation was successful, a new option is added to your WordPress admin screen: Settings -> Glass It Options.
4. See Glass It Options in your admin menu to import items for monitoring.

B) Quick Start Quide - top

1. Create a free account at https://glassit.co using a valid email address.

   To start price & availability monitoring, free email registration and verification is required to assist Web Engineers, who assist while monitoring your items. All monitoring activity occurs off-site, on Glass It LLC's servers. This plugin integration is primarily to save Glass It users time importing products one by one, and allow for category-level or bulk import from a WooCommerce powered online store for price & availability monitoring by Glass It LLC.

2. Prior to bulk import using this plugin, you are required to white-list your WooCommerce store by submitting one item manually to Glass It for monitoring. You can go to https://glassit.co or use the Glass It mobile app or browser extension to submit items for monitoring.

   After being white-listed, please make sure you are logged into your Glass It acccount in the same browser as the WooCommerce powered store to begin importing your items!

   After logging into Glass It in your browser, open a seperate tab and navigate to your WordPress admin section. See Settings -> Glass It Options in your WordPress admin section and read the instructions to import your WooCommerce products. The following is an example of the Glass It Options page in the admin section, but based off a store setup for testing purposes:

   

Follow the instructions on the Glass It Options page. Congratulations! You have successfully imported your WooCommerce product(s) into your Glass It account. Once your items are approved and setup for price tracking, they will appear in My Items in your Glass It account. The easiest way to view monitoring data collected after item approval is using Glass It widgets, which can be created for items you monitor. See the dashboard in your Glass It account.

C) Configuration Settings - top

When Glass It price tracker plugin has been installed successfully and activated in the Plugins screen in the Admin section, a new menu item is added to WordPress under Settings -> Glass It Options. Please note, login in the same browser is required, and for best experience importing your items we recommend using Chrome. If using other browsers like Firefox or Safari and you get a message asking you to login to Glass It (even though you already logged in), please check 'about:preferences' (in Firefox) on the Privacy & Security Tab there may be default settings which block Cross-site tracking cookies which must be disabled. This plugin uses a tracking cookie in this case to keep track of your Glass It account login state and save time importing your items. After items have been imported and approved, you will get an approval email and can set a price drop alert for each product being monitored. By default your alert settings are set to the currently listed price of each item. To configure your notification price settings (which give some control over frequency of alerts), login to your Glass It account. See My Items section in your Glass It account.

This plugin uses one (1) Javascript file:

1. Dependency: Default WordPress jQuery
2. Glass It Admin script - glassit_admin.js

jQuery is a Javascript library that greatly reduces the amount of code that you must write.
The logic for importing your store's products is carried out by the Glass It Admin script

Two PHP files are used in this plugin. The first one contains code to install and activate the Glass It Price Tracker Plugin in WordPress. The second contains the admin settings page code to import your products to your Glass It account.
