Clicking on these markers will link you to the corresponding post. The map can be inserted into any post or page using the shortcode [geopost]. To set the location for a post, enter a search string in the Geopost metabox in the post's admin page and press 'Search'. If a location is recognized, a map will appear for you to confirm the result. Clicking on the marker icon in the editor window map rotates through different color icons. == Installation == 1. Extract `geopost.zip` to `/wp-content/plugins/` directory on server 1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress 1. Place the shortcode `[geopost]` in any post or page == Frequently Asked Questions == = How can I add a marker to the map? = Choose a post and go to the post's admin page. Look on the right-hand side for a metabox labeled 'Geopost'. Enter a search string like you would on the Google Maps site and press 'Search'.
