This plugin will help you to filter the main query by category and post type.

What you can do with this plugin?:</br>
- Add more post types to main query ( home, author and other archive pages )</br>
- Show only posts from specific categories or to exclude


== Installation ==

1. Unzip
2. Upload "filter-main-query" folder to the "/wp-content/plugins/" directory
3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
4. To change the settings, go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Filter Main Query.
5. That's it!

The default WordPress settings does not have the option to filter the main query, so this plugin brings the option to do so.
