Feeder enables Wordpress authors to provide SMS subscriptions to their readers.

== Description ==

Feeder is a great way for Wordpress administrators to text message their readers and broadcast a new post to reader's phones.

Features:

*   Owner Verification of cell phones with unsubscribe feature

*   AJAX sidebar widget form with custom title and terms of agreement.

== Installation ==

1.  Upload the \`feeder-pk\` folder to the \`../wp-content/plugins/\` directory
2.  Activate the feeder-pk through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3.  Set your account under Settings -> Feeder
4.  Activate Feeder widget. Users can subscribe via the sidebar widget on your website.
5.  If you want the form to appear on some other post / page, simply type [feeder] and the form will be embedded on that page or post. Or just insert <pre>`<?php do_action('feeder_form'); ?>`</pre> into your template.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can I import phone numbers into Feeder? =

No, because that is illegal.  A person must subscribe to SMS updates because they might incur charges from their carrier.  If you add them without their consent, they could possibly come back on you with litigation for the charges and hassle.

 

= Can i send a txt message from the dashboard? =

No, sending custom messages is not supported yet.

 

= When do users get notified of a post? =

As soon you publish a post.

 

= Can a user unsubscribe? =

Yes, a user can unsubscribe at their will via the sidebar widget.
