=== Plugin Name === Contributors: simonwood Tags: authors Tested up to: 5.8 Stable tag: 1.1 License: GPL2 License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html Inserts an attribution into the post where a CC licensed image is used == Description == Some themes will display elements only if the blog is single or multi author, e.g. showing author bios only if there are multiple contributors to the blog. This plugin adds an option to override this behaviour, so that the theme will behave either as a single author blog (even where there are multiple authors) or as a multi-author blog (even where there is only one author). == Installation == 1. Upload the `featured-image-licence` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory OR 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress Or install through the Wordpress.org plugin directory and activate. After activating go to Settings > Featured Image Licence Options to set up your licences. To add licences you just need to give them a name and a URL to the licence details. Then in the media editor, you can choose your licences from the drop down field, and add the photographer name and a link to the original image. == Frequently Asked Questions == = Can I add the licences or are they pre-populated? = There are no licences pre-populated, although the plugin is designed with Creative Commons licences in mind. Each licence just needs a name (e.g. CC BY 2.0) and a URL to the licence details (e.g. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/uk/).
