This plugin allows you to import Facebook Places and Favebook Events as Wordpress Posts. 

== Description ==

This plugin allows you to import Facebook Places and Favebook Events as Wordpress Posts. You would need to create a Facebook Application to get started with this as shown on https://developers.facebook.com/docs/web/tutorials/scrumptious/register-facebook-application/ . 

Apart from this, you would also need the User Token that can be retrieved from https://developers.facebook.com/tools/accesstoken/ for your application. Please note that this token expires after sometime so you would need to refresh this at regular interval while importing the data. 

This plugin integrates both Google Maps and Facebook Application. It allows you to search for the Places near your locality and import them as Wordpress Posts. You would be asked to share the Location details when you access the plugin for the first time so that Google Maps can automatically identify your location for Place search. 

You can always select a different location on the map and the place search will be performed aound that area.We also support the search and import of Public Facebook Events as the Wordpress posts. But that search is not linked with the location you select on the map. 


== Installation ==

1. Upload `category-d3-tree` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
1. Create a Facebook Application as described on https://developers.facebook.com/docs/web/tutorials/scrumptious/register-facebook-application/
