Manage future events in an online calendar. A fully customized and free event calendar plugin for your wordpress site.

== Description ==
Event Calendar v1 allows you to insert an online calendar to your website and add events from your admin page. 

2 Different ways to add the calendar on your website,
1) Simply drag and drop the widget button 'Event Calendar' in your sidebar. -> <strong>Appearance</strong> -> <strong>Widgets</strong>
2) Add the shortcode <strong>[event_calendar]</strong> in the HTML Editor of your post or page to display the event calendar.

== Installation ==
1. Upload `eventcalendar.zip` from the plugin panel or unzip the file and upload the folder `eventcalendar` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the eventcalendar plugin through the `Plugins` panel in WordPress.
3. Visit <strong>Appearance</strong> -> <strong>Widgets</strong> and simply drag and drop the event calendar button in your sidebar.

If you get any errors or it does not work, check the `eventcalendar` plugin folder permissions. They should be 755.
Plugin requires php 5.2
