Wherever you are on your site's front end, hitting ESC will take logged in users straight to the edit page. == Description == So, yeah, basically, wherever you are on your site's front end, you just hit ESC and you'll go to the wp-admin edit page for that page or post, assuming you're logged in. If you're looking at a blog or archive, you'll go to the edit screen for the post currently visible. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/esc-to-edit` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress == Frequently Asked Questions == = Why? = Saves time. = Why not just click the edit link on the toolbar? = Not everyone likes to have the toolbar visible while they're designing.
