These broken links and images typically occur after you’ve changed your WordPress domain name and/or path. This plugin can also be useful for fixing inconsistent internal linking to www and non-www URLs within your site, improving your SEO. This plugin does not make potentially disastrous changes to your database like other similar plugins and can easily be deactivated. == Installation == 1. Download and extract to your plugins folder. 2. Activate from the Plugins section of your dashboard. 3. Click the "Domain/Path Fixer" option in your Settings menu. 4. Enter your old domain and path. Multiple entries should be separated by a comma. For example, http://old-domain.com,http://www.old-domain.com 5. Your new domain and path is automatically filled in with your WordPress URL. You can change this if necessary. == Additional Notes == This plugin does not make changes to your content or comments, it simply changes these values before they are displayed in the browser, therefore, your content in the editor will still contain the old domain name and path. Please see our [domain name and permalink change service](http://wordpressmover.com/service/ "domain name and permalink change service") for thorough repair and replacement of old domain names or permalink structures. == Frequently Asked Questions == Please see the [plugin home page](http://wordpressmover.com/domain-name-change-fix-plugin/ "Domain Name and Path Fixer Plugin") for more information.
