A WordPress plugin to manage Excel and PDF document downloads with user information collection via popup form.

## Installation

1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/document-download-manager` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress
3. Use the Settings->Document Downloads screen to configure the plugin

## Usage

Use the shortcode `[docdownman_document_download id="your-document-id"]` to display a download button for your document.

### Shortcode Parameters

- `id`: The ID of your document (required)
- `text`: Custom text for the download button (optional, default: "Download")



## Pro Version

The Pro version includes email marketing integration that works with Mailchimp, allowing you to:
- Automatically add document downloaders to your Mailchimp email list. Access via admin menu or directly at `/wp-admin/admin.php?page=docdownman-email-marketing`
- Segment subscribers based on which documents they download
- Sync existing download records to your email platform with one click
