Delink Comment Author gives you the ability to remove the link a commenter left as their URL without removing the entire comment.

This plugin gives you the ability to remove the link a commenter left as their URL without removing the entire comment, as valuable and insightful comments are not always attached to appropriate links.

Previously, comment URLs could be manually removed through the comments page. With Delink Comment Author, your new comment e-mail notifications will now include a link that allows you to remove these URLS with a mere click. This function is also included in the comments list in your admin area.

== Installation ==

1. Download the plugin archive and expand it (you've likely already done this).
2. Put the plugin files into your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
3. Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress Administration area and click 'Activate' for Delink Comment Author.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Why can't I bulk delink comments? =

The bulk delink feature requires that you have javascript enabled in your browser.

= Why isn't the delink link in email's working? =

For security reasons, the delink URL sent via email will only work for 12 hours after the comment has been posted. You must also be logged in prior to clicking the link for it to activate.

== Usage ==

Click on the link in your comment e-mail notification or in the comment list to remove the commenters link from their comment. To bulk delink comments, select the checkboxes next to the comments you wish to delink then select Delink from the bulk actions dropdown menu and hit apply.
