Your subscribers through the WordPress plugin will join a community where they can see all your latest content in one place as well as connect with you and one another. Moreover, if someone finds you on Dantoon.com and subscribes to your posts on the website, that person will automatically become a subscriber to your blog on WordPress through the plugin. = What is Dantoon.com? = Dantoon.com is a new, free social media site where you can say what you want, search the world's thoughts, and find the people who think like you. = If I add the Dantoon plugin, will my posts automatically go to Dantoon.com? = *The plugin aims to increase your blog's own traffic. We want to help people find your blog.* Dantoon will provide a place for your subscribers to find out about your new posts. When you link your blog to Dantoon, your 3 most recent posts are imported to Dantoon, along with a link back to your blog. (Actually, we only show the first 55 words of each post, so people will need to go to your blog to read more.) After that, whenever you write new posts on your blog, you can keep updating your Dantoon profile by logging into Dantoon and clicking the "Update" button (we won't do it automatically or without your permission.) Once again, when you update, we only show the beginning of each new post, with a link back to your blog. = What if my new posts are no longer than 55 words in length? = We will still link back to your actual blog. We don't want to show your content without linking back to your own blog page. = Do I need to join Dantoon to add the plugin? = Yes. Joining Dantoon (and adding the plugin) is free and only takes a few seconds. You need to join Dantoon because the plugin is built on top of the Dantoon platform. = What if I write on Dantoon.com? Will those posts show up on my blog? = No. We want to increase visibility for your blog, not take it over. We would love you to write on Dantoon, but those posts will not show up on your blog. = What about comments? = People can comment on your posts on Dantoon (and we encourage everyone to do so), but comments made on Dantoon do not go to your blog. Dantoon is a casual place to gather around writing, share thoughts and leave comments, but we don't want to take over your blog with Dantoon content. Also, comments made on your blog are not imported to Dantoon. == Screenshots == 1. This screenshot shows a blog with the Dantoon widget on the sidebar. 2.
