== Installation ==

**Auto:** In your WordPress admin, click Plugins > Add New > Type 'Daily Crowdsource' in the search box > Hit search > Click 'Install Now.'

**Manually:** Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.

**Activate:** In your WP admin, click Appearance > widgets > find the box titled 'Daily Crowdsource News' > drag it to your sidebar area > select your options > click 'Save' > view your frontend to see if you're getting a cache error.

**Adjust your cache folder!!!** This plugin uses caching to dramatically increase page load speed. After you install & activate this plugin, you'll need to make sure your /wp-content/cache/ folder is writable. If you do not have a /wp-content/cache/ folder, create one & make sure it's writable. <a href="http://dailycrowdsource.com/crowdsourcing-tools/news-widget/wordpress-cache-settings/" target="_dailycrowdsource">Use these directions</a>.

If you're getting an error that looks like:
wp-content/cache/3f55dbc2c828a9d186524de25e612ae0.spc is not writeable in /home/siteroot/public_html/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 1780
