== Description ==

Anyone with a WordPress site can benefit from this plugin!

It is designed to save you time by managing commonly used blocks of content (text, HTML, CSS, or Javascript) that you want to appear across your site. Content templates can be used in posts, pages, widgets, and comments. Simply define the content templates in the plugin options page and then insert them anywhere on your site by adding a shortcode in the place where you want content to appear. See the screenshots for examples.

The original motivation behind the plugin was to be able to insert the same content in multiple posts (i.e. information related to a group of posts). Unfortunately, doing this manually, I had to change the 'stock content' myself on every post where it was defined. Not only was this method error prone, not to mention tedious, it was also time consuming! But not any longer.. :)

Now, any content can be defined as a templates and easily inserted as many times you like in your post, pages, widget, or comments. The REALLY nice thing is that if you need to change the content template then it is automatically updated anywhere it is defined on your site, and the change only needs to be made in ONE place - the template! Content templates can also be temporarily disabled so they won't be displayed on your site.

The plugin is flexible and very easy to use, why not give it a try!

== Installation ==

Instructions for installing the WP Content Filter Plugin.

1. Download and extract the Plugin zip file.
2. Upload the folder containing the Plugin files to your WordPress Plugins folder (usually ../wp-content/plugins/ folder).
3. Activate the Plugin via the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
4. Once activated you go to the Plugin options by clicking the menu link under the 'Settings' menu.
5. Configure plugin settings accordingly.

The plugin can also be installed directly from the main WordPress plugin page.

1. Go to the Plugins => Add New page.
2. Enter 'Contemplate' (without quotes) in the textbox and click the 'Search Plugins' button.
3. In the list of relevant plugins click the 'Install' link for Contemplate on the right hand side of the page.
4. Click the 'Install Now' button on the popup page.
5. Click 'Activate Plugin' to finish installation. Then click the 'Contemplate' link under the Settings Menu to configure the plugin options.
