Existing slider plugins do not allow you to create sliders within Gutenberg WordPress Editor. They offer mostly a custom made slide builder (or no slide builder) which was a good feature earlier. But with the Gutenberg editor, you should be able to create sliders directly inside the Gutenberg editor. 

That’s why we built <a href="http://wpblockslider.com/" rel="friend" title="Block Slider">Block Slider</a>.This is the next generation **WordPress slider plugin**. You can easily create sliders by adding any WordPress blocks within the Gutenberg Editor. You do not need to leave the editor to build your sliders using some other bulky non-intuitive slider builder. Now you can create any kind of slider within Gutenberg editor using Block Slider plugin.

Block Slider makes it easier for you to create sliders with any Gutenberg block(s) within the slides, nice and easy. You can add multiple blocks within a slide.

= Block Slider is in Beta =

As you may aware that Gutenberg is the new editor for Wordpress and so is its API. It is still developing and so the Block Slider plugin. We are working hard to make it the best slider plugin for the Gutenberg editor. It works well already and is compatible with the latest WordPress & Gutenberg plugin. But, it may have compatibility issues with a theme, plugin or a Gutenberg block. 

We need your help to improve it. Kindly report the bugs. compatibility issues and feature suggestions to us via the WordPress support forum.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the entire plugin folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Once Activated, you will find the 'Block Slider' block in the Gutenberg editor.
