# Text Color Format

By default Gutenberg block editor doesn't have the "Text Color" available on TinyMCE but you don't have to worry about it because EditorsKit provides this missing text format.

## How to add change selected text color?

Follow the steps below to change the selected text color easily.

1. Select or highlight the text that you want to change the color.
2. Click the "A" icon on the block Toolbar. This will open a popover with list or colors to choose from.
3. Select the color you want and it will automatically be applied on the text you've selected.
