Autodownload enables you to add links to files in your posts and pages.

== Description ==

Autodownload is a WordPress plugin that enables your blog to provide links 
to files either in your posts or pages. Emphasize has been put on ease of 
use and thus it does most of the things automagically. Autodownload is easy
to install. Installation should is done in less than 5 minutes. The idea of 
this plugin is to simplify the administration of downloadable files. Once the 
download folder for a given post or blog was defined, adding links to files is 
then a matter of uploading the file to this folder. The links are automatically
generated and inserted in your post/page.

== Installation ==

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1. Download [autodownload_latest.tar.gz][download]
2. Unpack the archive and upload it to your WordPress plugins 
   directory (usually wp-content/plugins)
3. [optional] If you want to change the default download root directory 
   (it defaults to wp-content/) then go to the Autoupdate options page 
   and change the root directory
4. In any post or page add <ul><!-- ad__filesListLI(relPath, sort) --></ul>. 
   You can copy the string and replace relPath by any relative path. 
   It will then be appended to the download directory defined in the 
   Autodownload options page. You can either sort for name or date.
   Note that it is (for now) crucial to leave ONE space between the 
   function and the html comment tags
