# AIA - Your Handy Shop Manager

AIA is a WooCommerce plugin that replaces the traditional shop manager role entirely. It operates through full automation and autonomous decision-making to actively develop your store, run promotions, and deliver daily shop analysis — without requiring manual intervention.


## What AIA Does

- **Autonomous shop management** — takes over day-to-day operations that a human shop manager would handle, from order monitoring to customer engagement
- **Daily shop analysis** — generates insights on sales performance, product trends, and customer behaviour on a recurring basis
- **Promotions & campaigns** — autonomously identifies opportunities and suggests or executes promotional actions to drive revenue
- **Shop development** — continuously evaluates store health and proposes actionable improvements
- **WooCommerce-native** — built specifically for WooCommerce; requires WooCommerce to be installed and active

## Requirements

- WordPress 5.0+
- WooCommerce (must be installed and active)
- PHP 7.4+
- An active AIA account at [aissistant.site](https://aissistant.site)

## Installation

1. Upload the plugin to your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress
3. Navigate to **Aia** in the WordPress admin menu
4. The plugin will automatically enroll your store and configure itself

> Note: Activation will be blocked if WooCommerce is not installed and active.

## How It Works

Upon activation, AIA enrolls your store with the AIA platform, exchanging shop metadata (locale, currency, WooCommerce configuration, multisite setup) to build a complete picture of your store. From that point, AIA operates autonomously — analysing orders, identifying patterns, and surfacing recommendations and actions through the admin interface on a daily cadence.

All communication with the AIA backend is secured via JWT authentication tied to your specific store tenant.

## Updates

AIA checks for plugin updates automatically. When a new version is available, a notification will appear in the WordPress Plugins page with a direct update link.
